Obviously it's all subjective but if there has ever being a better RB than Cafu or LB than Maldini IMO it must have been pre-1970 and they must have been some players.

Fair enough, in which case I'm changing Baresi (everyone's got him in their team) to Miodrag Belodedici of Romania. He was an awesome central defender but never got as much credit as Hagi, Dumetrescu, Lacatus etc during Romania's golden period.
