If Reina does move on in the summer, due to desire or because we want someone better/younger, is there a better option than Lyon's Lloris? He is young, and with Lyon not being the same team they were a few years ago, we could get him at a reasonable price (10-15 mill)? Is there anyone else who we should be looking out for?

Good point Dmish - a few options:
1) Atleti (courtois is on loan) and he'd be going home
2) Milan (He's better than Abiatti)
3) Inter
4) Paris SG (I think)
5) Valencia (Just throwing it out there!)

There are a number of good options out there. I'm not as afraid of Reina leaving as I was a few years ago. I'm afraid that we would sign a poor replacement though.

Tottenham Hotspur have identified Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, 25, as the man to replace 40-year-old goalkeeper Brad Friedel next season.

The wigan keeper is good in the air as well as shop stopping.

Also Beegavich (sp?) at stoke, is too good to be a reserve....

The goalie position has haunted a lot of the top clubs in PL for decades. If you have a steady good goalie like Reina you must make it a top priority to keep him. He feels safe and home, and gives the team confidence. Foreigners who are thrown into the physicall tough PL often crumbles and falls, so it is a huge gamble and can easily cost us an extra season on our way back to the PL crown.
