yea this sounds right but you’d have to say he visibly didn’t look like a guy who’d had any such conversations in the recent pre season video

big ask to uproot his wife and kids as well

Apparently Saudi is all about the family.

He won’t start for England in a tournament again with Rice Bellingham Trent Maddison Mount all in favour with Southgate.

With no income tax in Saudi he’d be making an absolute killing.

Thanks for being the greatest captain of my lifetime Jordan and enjoy retirement.

Well… if we sell him & Thiago, I hope we replace them and not do what we usually do and stick with what we have.

Sell them both and sign Lavia & Thuram - keep the crazies from going full scanners.

Appaz the clubs in some deals also pays for livings expenses etc.

Think I might fancy a move to Saudi soon, these gambling debts are getting a hold of me & I need to break the curse.

Any chance they'd pay for top hotel room service in the form of sexy high class women?

Only if you are a Saudi Prince

Is it really that big of a change? It's probably just a year and they must be offering crazy amounts of money for him to even consider it.

Let's say he's on 150k p/w, they offer him 350-400k?
He just turned 33, and is being asked to compete with two big money signings in midfield. Maybe it is time.

he said giddy with excitement

Jordan Henderson will make a decision over a move to Saudi Arabia in the next 48 hours after having doubts over his Liverpool future… with Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq willing to give the £200,000-a-week star a 50% pay rise

Woah...£400k

700k a week hahahahahhahahahaha.

Went from a 50% pay rise on 200k a week to 700k a week Modo.

Do you lads seriously want him gone? Who’s going to hold the standards amongst the players? Virgil and Robbo perhaps but with Milner gone I don’t think anyone left has the voice, the bite and the respect.

Might be fine without but the results with him are difficult to fault.

Maybe we're just finding it too difficult to shift players and this was the best deal Schmadtke could find

Not really. An expat friend of mine moved his family over there for around 5 years. They had a great life and loved it. Life as a rich expat can be awesome, especially when earning a fortune and being feted left right and centre. And Stevie will be there.

I don't want him to go at all, and I don't think the club would either....but 700k a week? I don't see how he could turn it down. That's insane money

As for how much we'd get; fuck knows

that’s one possible outcome but unless he’s planning on shifting his entire extended family, kids friends and schools too a move like that definitely comes with issues
