Bale at fullback for barca would be good, their fullbacks don't really play as fullbacks more wingers...I don't think Bale is as good as being made out but still each to their own I suppose. £40 mill spurs would be daft not to take that, as I doubt they will ever get anything like it again.

No way will Barca spunk £40m on HyperBale. Haven't they been linked with Valencia's Jordi Alba who in my opinion is vastly better than Bale and cheaper.

Yeah, see 3 different names, one's a left-back/midfielder and another can play either full-back position, there aren't too many that play left-back week-in week-out that are truly world class, and if you ask a 4th person they will probably say someone else. For a generation it was simply either Roberto Carlos or Paolo Maldini and that was that.
