Post Match Fulham (H) 2-2 Dec 14th

Robbo v Madrid, Robbo v Southampton, Robbo today. Three mistimed tackles changing games. Is this what happens if you get off the pace? Is he too young to be going this way. Don't remember this issue before.

I like Diaz, but you need your big players to show up in big moments.
He didn't need to go into the tackles like he did. He is experienced enough. Milly in his mid 30s playing at right/left back never did. In fact, players rarely tackle in the box these days, it's not worth it. He just need to hold them off until we get the bodies back. Worse case, we have Ali. I am not sure what's going on in his head.

If both Robbo and Kostas are here next season then something is wrong. I don’t think either will be short of offers as plenty of lesser sides would love to have them and could easily afford our asking prices, assess the offers and go with the best one. £20m? Something like that. £40m for both would be dreamland. Throw 15-20m at that Soler kid and tell John he can shove the rest of profits up his arse.

It is a bit rich for Mo to get upset at one of his team-mates not passing to him when he’s in a better position to score and then taking on a low probability of success shot.
This is Mo though, i think we are past the "Mo's not passing" stage. He does that all the time but he gets us results. I can't say the same about the rest of them. He was wide open, our best scorer, it was an easy pass as opposed to trying to score past 3 defenders + the keeper. I bet Mo was screaming for the ball there in the midst of all the pointing, no excuses.

Honestly I think Robbo has reached that age where his body doesn't respond the way he'd like it to.
Robbo probably thinks he still can play like the 25 year old version of him.

It's an old person thing. Next thing you know he'll be voting for the Reform party and circulating conspiracy theories by WhatsApp

Ali - 6

Trent - 1
Gomez - 7
Virg - 6
Robbo - 2 (yes he was better than Trent)

Grav - 8
Jones - 4
Szobo - 5

Mo - 6 +1 for the assist.
Diaz - 4
Gakpo - 6 +1 for the goal.

Nunez - 5
Quansah - 2
Jota - 7
Harvey - 5

Strip the fucker of his vice captaincy and send him packing in Jan (that's if Madrid even want him).
find it hard to disagree with you, 7 for Gomez..??, 4...5 maybe

My 65 year old body still thinks it's a 25 year olds (in every way) so yes, I bet he does.

Slot also said he probably felt the injury from the Diop tackle, so in hindsight it would have been better for him to be subbed.

I’m not saying the pass shouldn’t have been made or diminishing Mo’s record - just pointing out the mild hypocrisy of the situation.

Great news. He'll be a crutch player for us this season
Deliberate or not 🤣

I'm note sure you even know what you're watching - are you sure it's not a cartoon version of FIFA Pro?
oh, I know... Like I know mwhen He goes up field, and is almost level with the front three, and leaving an offensive attacking winger yards of space behind him and sruggles to get back and defend, or when he leaves that winger out on the left or right while he drifts in to the cb position when he should be defend the rb/lb position and donig his best impression of a defendsive coach waving others to pick up players around him instead of doing so himself

I was encouraged by what I saw yesterday from Arne Slot. I think we have a very good tactician on our hands. Yesterday should serve as a reference point to the entire team. If we can play THAT well with 10 men, down a goal, imagine what we could do if everyone is on the pitch and working that hard still.

We were lethargic and lazy until the sending off. Everyone, save TAA, put in a tremendous shift to make up for the man down.

Unbelievable spirit. And with our main rival (imo Arsenal) dropping points in a game they had their full strength team out there, I think it's safe to say we've got a lot more in the tank than they have. We just have to consolidate our position with one signing or two in Jan.

So true.

He's a world class full back when he's arsed. He can turn up for the big games and puts in a respectable shift (Man City & Chelsea at home), but some of these lesser games, his work effort, focus and passion goes missing. We need Bradley back on the bench so he feels like he can be taken off at any minute and puts in the work rate required.

That's a good point. Maybe he needs to feel that pressure, that threat, to be able to get fired up. Whenever he is infuriating to watch, it does seem like he's grown soft and comfortable.

I was a hard fought point, and avoiding defeat with 10 men, yet we have dropped two valuable points and the gap is closing fast by the chasing pack! I thought some of the players were really awful, especially Trent and Salah (both minds are on new contract!!) and best player was Gravenberch, and thank god that Jota is back. More tough games are coming so fast, and our injuries are not easing fast. Players efforts and performance need to be improved quickly. Good luck

No it isn't. Only Chelsea. We gained a point on City and Arsenal dropping points to Everton was even worse!
