He’s had about four howlers already this season…a wonderful servant to the club but his successor needs to be here and driving him out of the team.I want to give Robbo the benefit of the doubt and say the early knock affected him.
He's also had to play a lot of football lately and looked a bit tired.
But realistically we need to be looking at a new LB soon. Robbo kept as back up.
I don't think so. A big shout out to Gomez who not only wrapped up LB in defence but put a lot into attack as well. I think he's our best LB at the moment.I wonder if Slot regrets bringing on Quansah in this game. He was utterly devoid of confidence and slowed us down when we were pushing for the equalizer. Having Gravvy at CB was working, there was no need to change.
On the positive side, welcome back Jota! We missed you.

I loved how Arne absolutely went for it. If I'm honest I doubt Klopp would have done, he'd have just kept playing the same way. I always feel there is nothing to lose so throw the kitchen sink at it - Arne did just that.Heroic performance. Really proud of the boys and Arne.
If we had serious owners we'd buy a DM, LB and CF in January. And try to win everything. He’s had about four howlers already this season…a wonderful servant to the club but his successor needs to be here and driving him out of the team.
Trent in a nutshell:In hindsight, would have been better to leave Szobo on and just sub Trent for Elliott.
None of his Hollywood balls found target either – if they did you could excuse defensive mistakes. When pushed up into midfield he looked just about as comfortable as playing for Southgate’s England.Trent in a nutshell:
Oh shit:
I'm gonna start calling Trent, Mr Hollywood
True.None of his Hollywood balls found target either – if they did you could excuse defensive mistakes. When pushed up into midfield he looked just about as comfortable as playing for Southgate’s England.
Don't be mentioning Diaz like he was relevantHe always has a great game against us. I don't understand how we kep playing from the right side knowing Salah was getting owned.
The magic was happening between Diaz-Jota on the opposite side
The stats are worth a mention considering we played 82 mins with 10 men vs one of the form teams in the PL:
Possession 60.6% vs 39.4%
Shots 16 (4) vs 12 (3)
Touches in the Box 34 vs 17
GK Saves : 1 vs 2
Corners : 5 vs 4
Oh definitely, but Diaz did Ok after Jota came on.Don't be mentioning Diaz like he was relevant
Personally thought everything worthwhile was either Jota or Elliott based
Diaz did fine, but I think gakpo and Jota would have worked better. I didn't understand taking gakpo off ahead of DiazOh definitely, but Diaz did Ok after Jota came on.
Elliott was great
Because we needed someone who could run at their defence. Also Gakkers looked a bit tiredDiaz did fine, but I think gakpo and Jota would have worked better. I didn't understand taking gakpo off ahead of Diaz
It's insane how Trent is still on corners and free kicks. He's fucking shite at them
@Brizzle do your thing. People are ready to move on.Tsimi isn't back from injury , Robbo suspended and Konate out. Quansah looks like a liability. So who plays CB and who plays LB? Do we go 3 at the back and 4 in MF with Endo coming in to give extra protection?
Will miss the Southampton game, but will be back for the weekend game against Spurs. How many games is Robo out? Does it include the cup game

There was one that found Gakpo - but we made nothing of it when we should have.None of his Hollywood balls found target either – if they did you could excuse defensive mistakes. When pushed up into midfield he looked just about as comfortable as playing for Southgate’s England.
Err he made one? But yeah we should have hit the target more. The fact that Alison still made more saves shows the issue with our front line
