Post Match Fulham (H) 2-2 Dec 14th

It's very frustrating but there was a lot to like about the performance.

I felt we deserved the win. Both their goals had a helping deflection on and they didn't create a great deal more. Our attackers just didn't hit the target enough in key moments

Grav was sublime and Jota showed what we've been missing. As for Robbo, yeah... I've been giving him the benefit of doubt over recent incidents but no longer.

Slot gains further credit. He couldn't have done any more to give us the platform to win the game. On a weekend with a red card, zero points dropped to Arsenal will be seen as a decent enough weekend come the end of year. The key mistakes need cutting out, though, and Tsimi has to come straight back in

Ali - 6

Trent - 1
Gomez - 7
Virg - 6
Robbo - 2 (yes he was better than Trent)

Grav - 8
Jones - 4
Szobo - 5

Mo - 6 +1 for the assist.
Diaz - 4
Gakpo - 6 +1 for the goal.

Nunez - 5
Quansah - 2
Jota - 7
Harvey - 5

Strip the fucker of his vice captaincy and send him packing in Jan (that's if Madrid even want him).

Mike Dean is 100% on the Red Card for Perreira (before he scored). 100% he then emphasised again : "it's just a bad challenge, horrible".

That decision changed the game otherwise 3 points.

Harsh on Szobo and Robbo deserves a 1. He did fuck all.

If and when Szobo learns how to head a ball he'll score over five out of ten. He doesn't even get the second bounce. Scared of fucking his hair up or something.

Worst game I've ever seen Trent play. We need two new fullbacks. Thank God Gomez and Grav played well enough to cover three positions. Trent couldn't even play his own.

Overall I loved the game but even with Robbo being a complete wanker we could and should have won if those two dickheads would have tried a bit harder. I think Trent might have one eye on not getting injured before he signs his pre deal, in which case bench the cunt.

Take the shot first time on his strong foot, leave it to Harvey who's shaping to hit it on his strong foot, pass it to Mo.

Nope, let's cut back inside into a congested area and fuck it up.

I like the lad but you don't get more Diaz than that.

Nobody gives a fuck about xG.

A computer that PREDICTS goal scoring chances based on simulations - it's not fucking real, what kind of shit is football becoming?
Everybody gives a shit about xG whether you like it or not it's a thing.

Yes it's a thing, a newly invented one.......that nobody cares about. I very much doubt you were watching football in the 80s or 90s thinking "if only we had some made up predicted stat we could dwell into"

Lineker adamant that Robbo’s red was ridiculous given Wilson would never have got to the ball…

Wilson's touch is heavy but that doesn't factor much in our favour in my view given he's 25 yards from goal and Virg is way back there, so whether he "would have" got to the ball is irrelevant, he gets cleaned out by Robbo as the last man before he gets the chance which is the main issue here...

The sad fact is that if Gomez would have started LB and Quansah for Gomez we'd have probably bummed them.

Let's say Van Dijk let the ball roll in after Wilson was brought down. Does Robbo still get a red?

I mean to say lads. We were a man down and the better team. We played like we had 11. incredibly heartening performance.

One other item - their second goal, what was Trent doing with Robinson - too easy for Fulham there.

Also, Diogo shows how much harder we make life for ourselves when we don't have a natural goal poacher like himself.

Imagine we had one more.

This is the 3rd or 4th challenge I have seen Robbo make when he didn't get the ball. He already gave 2 pens away previously, this was just stupid.

Diaz is another who cannot be trusted when the chips are down. We need to replace him and Darwin and get a new LB. Robinson made 2, and ours got sent off.

Robbo v Madrid, Robbo v Southampton, Robbo today. Three mistimed tackles changing games. Is this what happens if you get off the pace? Is he too young to be going this way. Don't remember this issue before.

I like Diaz, but you need your big players to show up in big moments.

If Robbo were a dog, we're now at the point where he would "go to live on a farm in the country".
I love the guy, and I've always loved his "fuck you" attitude, but he isn't cutting it any more. I'd love him to prove me wrong, but I don't think it's going to happen. So he either needs to accept being second choice to a new, upgraded player, or he needs to move on. I've said before I could see him taking on a Milner role as far as influence in the dressing room is concerned, but I don't see him contributing on the field as often or as consistently as Milner did.
Crying shame.
