He's not the first one but obviously he's different in the respect that he actually seemed to go out shopping for a football club, as a personal accessory, and clearly wasn't even a massive football fan before. At least Jack Walker was a Blackburn fan, so noone really begrudged him doing a similar thing there.

I've thought Rafa should go for 2 years never for a second truly thought we would win the league last season or this season.

Doesn't mean I've lost interest in football. It's probably grown actually since I moved over here as you have to put in so much more effort to watch games etc.....

For me there is no choice, I'm addicted to LFC and even though we have been hard to follow under Rafa for 2 years imo.

I actually think last season was worse as we were in with such a good chance of winning the league.
This year was never going to happen with no back ups for Torres Gerrard or replacement for Alonso or Sami.

But you can't choose when to follow, you just do through thick and thin.

Maybe not for you but for me it was.
I thought in in the summer of 2 years ago that we had a real shot at winning the league if Rafa brought in a proper pacey winger and a striker to play with Torres.

He brought in Keane and f*cked him over. I said from day one our lack of options up top would cost us points that would eventually see us miss out on the league and thats pretty much how it happened.

It was agonising to see us go so close and fail when we could so easily have won it. And what made it worse was that I knew we would be back to a top 4 finish this year.

I expected very little this season so havent' been to shocked. Granted we are doing worse than I thought due to injuries, Rafa losing the plot with picking certain players, but in no way is it as hard to swallow as the change we had to win the league last season for the 1st time in 20 and f*cked up.

Just my opinion.

If you can't vent your frustrations on a LFC forum then where can you. Just because I'm downbeat on our chances doesn't make me any less of a fan. Your blind optimism is starting to look a little strained now.

Andy is as negative as myself now and that doesn't suddenly make him care any less or watch any less.
