They have just seemed to have more zip about them tonight. More pace and incisiveness.

Yeah maybe the Portugal game, but I think the fawning over Pirlo and Balotelli probably helped.
I havnt really enjoyed watching them up to this point but it cant be denied they are easily the best team in the tournament and they have gears to go through.

I think whats most impressive about this is how when called to do so in the final, they have just stepped on the gas and showed their heels.
You just feel like if the team they faced had more to offer they would just accellerate again.

I think theyve played faaar better tonight than at any other time in the tournament. I thought italy and portugal were better than them in early rounds but its like they couldnt be arsed and did enough. When they needed to get better they got much better.
