Not really a problem, he hasn't been playing well.
Carragher and Rio at cb?
That'll be ok with me.
King would be ahead of Carra in the pecking order though, wouldn't he?
I assumed king (cultured) would be back up for Rio and Dawson/upson/carragher the back up for terry.

I doubt Carra will get a minute at the WC.
Terry, King and Plug are ahead of him, certainly, so injuries notwithstanding, no he won't.

not sure really, if england get to the latter stages then they could face a game every 2/3 days. King could not cope with that and it would not be good to chop and change the back 4.

He'll get plenty of minutes.

Alright, wanna have a stab at who's gonna miss out on Tuesday?

I'm going for:
Dawson
Warnock
Parker
Huddlestone
Bent
SWP
Johnson

That sounds about right though I wouldn't be upset to see Johnson in the side.

You think he'll take Huddlestone and omit Carrick?

I'd be fucking stunned if that happened Oncy.
Nah not really, I'm just taking a flyer based on the assumption that he took the squad of thirty to asses the final few places in his squad and over the two games huddlestone has been far better. In fact all season he has been. That plus the fact Carrick rarely makes Capellos squad make me think maybe, just maybe...
You're probably right though with the exception of Gary Barry.

I'd take SWP ahead of Walcott. Walcott is the proverbial headless chicken, has no end product and is fucked if his pace doesnt let him beat his man.

I also reckon Carrick will go ahead of Huddlestone.
Id take anyone ahead of Walcott. I hate him, he's just really not very good pace aside.

SWP's fucking ordinary too to be honest.
Yep. I'm really hoping Lennon and Cole stay fit.

Amen to that.

As far as Carrick and Huddlestone are concerned, I wouldn't take either. Carrick's been pish this season, while Huddlestone's a flat track bully at best. Scott Parker would be a better choice IMHO.

I reckon that's what he'll go with... I would drop Carrick, but that's not going to happen. I wish he would take Johnson and omit Upson (Carragher and King are cover in the centre, Carragher and Milner at right back) or either Heskey or Defoe (he needs to play Gerrard off of Rooney... we don't need four forwards).

SWP fucks me right off. Even when every fucker & his dog was slobbering over him I didnt rate him.

I seem to remember only me & Wizardry fighting the 'he's overrated & really not that good' corner just before he moved to Chelsea.

Players I think will miss out:

Dawson (It's him or King and you've got to think that Capello would have tried him at least once in the last couple of games if he thought he might take him)

Warnock (Ditto above replacing King with Baines)

SWP (Whilst a decent player in my opinion, he's a victim that there are two extremely similar players that Capello fancies ahead of him)

Parker (The only way this will change is if Barry doesn't make it but he didn't get a minute v Japan or Mexico so I think that says it all)

Bent (I think Walcott's his number 5 striker and Bent's still behind Defoe. He just fucking loves Heskey as well)

Huddlestone (I wish this weren't the case as it means that Carrick will probably go but he'll probably choose Carrick for that little bit more international experience for what is essentially the fifth choice central midfielder)

Upson (Who will probably hate Jamie Carragher for the rest of his life)

if terry is out then I would play king. when king is fit he is excellent. king is made of cheese but I suspect even he can handle 4 or 5 games.
