Shame in a way. I do think the kid has talent but he hasn't been able to polish it up sufficiently to establish himself here.

If he knuckles down and learns from Gus Poyet he can still make it in the Prem IMO.

He's been doing that. His attitude has improved a lot and last year he really worked hard - and listened. I like him and hope that he makes it. I did hope he'd get at least another year working with Borrell. Having said that, this move ought to be good for him.
