He's got the team winning most games against historically lesser opposition.

He's got the team winning after disappointments

He's got our team looking so much better..

We're second in the league now with Chelski dropping points and almost one third of the league games over.

Next up - keep it going, and start winning against the big names by getting 9-12 points from this run

Dec 15 11:00 ET Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool White Hart Lane Premier League
Dec 21 7:45 ET Liverpool v Cardiff City Anfield Premier League
Dec 26 12:30 ET Manchester City v Liverpool Etihad Stadium Premier League
Dec 29 11:00 ET Chelsea v Liverpool Stamford Bridge Premier League

Yes, the pressing especially is brilliant. We need to push on now against Everton but it's smart management.

I'd be simply amazed if we can get 15 points from 4 matches.

Rodgers must be a right miracle worker to get 15 points from 4 games...

Bar some freakish result, we will remain 2nd for the next couple of weeks. Not bad.

However, consider for a moment who is in 3rd, ahead of Chelsea, Man City, Spurs and Man U. Southampton will finish no higher than 7th at the end of the season, and we could easily drop out of the top 4 with 2 non-wins on the trot.

Wish we'd start looking to improve GD. As good as that first 60 minutes were, the last 30 were shite and it's not like we ever really hit another gear.

These are the kind of problems I've been dreaming of..

Yep, credit to him today aswell - went 4 at the back instead of 5, and subbed gerrard off. Seems to be doing the right things, and we've been improving ever since he come in.

That little phase there - that will define our season - anything more than 5 points would be a great result.

Agreed, it's a nice problem to have, and 2nd in table after 11 games is also very nice, but there are still weak points to our game. While we have been good, only vigilance against complacency, and a bit more passion (some of the players got real lazy after the 4th), will see us take that next step to become champions.

That little phase there - that will define our season - anything more than 5 7 points would be a great result.

Oh and fixed that for you stevie, City game will be tough but there should be at least 2 wins and a draw in the other 3 given how those teams are playing at the mo.

Not at all. It's the only example this season! And we're a third of the way through it!

Fucking hell, you're painful sometimes!

Yes but it's not every game is it? He edited the original post as proven by my first quote.
I really don't know what you're after, cause frankly, I'm right.

Have some common sense mate. People say things to make a point when there's usually always an exception. Surely you got the point he was trying to make?

Fulham
Stoke
WBA
Etc

Of course I did and it's a great feat, but you can't just disregard the Southampton game.
Like I said, I don't know why you're making a big deal out of it?
I bet you if anyone else pointed that out you wouldn't be having this discussion.

I still think his transfers are 50/50 but I'm confident we're on the right track as long as FSG back him financially.

If we're still in touching distance come January, I'm gonna start getting excited. However, it's a bloody tough run until then.
