Elliott - a stepover when we're trying to clear ? Led straight to a goal.

Ox. Fuck off. 4 times we've either been breaking or in a good position only for him to stumble over his own feet (x2) or slow it down and then misplace his pass (x2). to say nothing of watching him run like his feet are in treacle.

Harvey is really really bad, like really bad.

Ox is a championship player, Klopp you don't owe him anything.

Konate started well but seems to be a bit starstruck by Wissa and Mee.

Virgil for me is past it, as is Fab.

We can't rely on Ali to keep up in games constantly or Mo/Darwin to produce something

Exactly what I was thinking... not! Jones offers less than Elliott. The thought of Jones coming on makes me mad.
Completely disagree…for a start, he’s not going to be outmuscled every two seconds.

And people still want that useless greedy twat on the pitch?????? He’s robbing a living and taking the piss out of us all.

We have been poor all season but a team with Elliott in midfield and fucking ox in the front 3 has no chance I'd rather play matip where ox is at least he can carry the ball forward
Just someone tell me why he keeps playing ox

Badger tits, fresh as a daisy on the bench, must also be wondering how Elliott got the nod today despite a horror show and a knock against Leicester.

Eliott is not a generational talent.

Today is not the game he should be playing against an intense, physical Brentford side.

Problem is, I'm not sure we have anyone else.

The scary thing from Elliot was that he was on the left side in front of Thiago - out of position and you could argue that he would have, had he been in the correct position, been able to help TAA for the cross…Elliot is a major issue and will continue to be.

Elliott needs taking out for his own good. Van Dijk is about as fast as me. Ox isn’t our worse player and offering more than our most expensive signing and most highly paid cunt.

We don't our midfield is shot just shot and the last time we signed someone to play in midfielder was tiago that was a few years ago now

As good as Gakpo may well be, he’s not going to sort this crap out. Central midfield is where the gaping chasm of an issue is.
If that’s not addressed with at least one CM this month then no way we get fourth.

Imagine if we actually bought a midfielder?

Every passing game the price is going to shoot up

the state of our midfield is so depressing
negligence if it stays like this

and hearing the "right player" line pissed be right off

I know the high line is getting flack, but we don't have the legs in the midfield to get about Brentford and press them in big spaces if we don't push up.

Neither do Elliott or Thiago have the defensive nous to help cover the half space, track runs into the box and/or prevent crosses to the back post.

So we're fucked if we play deep too and just drop off.
