Floydy - you're new here, you went against popular opinion and said a few meanie words at the same time. Just accept that you're getting a kicking, however daft it might be, apologise for saying that Kuyt is rubbish and then later everyone will say how you're alright actually.


In my opinion, Kuyt's future here is as a very good quality back-up striker and occasional utility player, and with any luck, in a year's time, that won't be such a bad job to have.

If Gerrard is struggling to play this season, i can see Kenny going with a three man centre midfield of Henderson, Lucas and Adam on a regular basis.

I'm not sure where Meireles fits into the equation but as the saying goes - it's a squad game.

Unless Kuyt's injured I doubt he's beeing benched. He's all about important goals and today could very well be one of those days where we need him to shin one in.
