Don't know if something like this has been done before but I'm interested to see what type of players we have on this forum so what type of player were you or are you if you're still playing?
I played a mixture of futsal and outdoor and always played CB. I was usually captain for most teams I played for and was the aggressive, tall, strong and always talking CB who loved a tackle.
I always felt that my best trait was the reading of the play and I could constantly tell teammates where to move and where to go while out on the pitch.
My worst trait was probably my fitness and at the beginning, my first touch.
So, what type of player were you?

I play in a creative DM role, closest in style would be a cross between Mascherano and Xavi.
I love a tackle and can play at CB if needs be but prefer to sit in the middle and win the ball then spray passes around the park.
I think my best traits would be my passing, long or short, I see things really clearly and can deliver the ball on a 5p from anywhere, and I love an assist more than scoring, when you see something in your head and you start the play but you are reliant on someone else finishing it and getting what you saw, thats a beautiful thing, I live for assists. My reading of the game is good and my positional sense as is my tackling and my lack of fear.
Bad sides, finishing, im not great in front of goal and as often pepper it wide as hit the target (although in my defence its normally because im trying to place it in the corners and not just leather it) pace....I have none, and I dont have any particular skill on the ball or ability to dribble very well. I never lose the ball ever, but thats because I never really try to beat people, I pass it and move

I was a shite goalkeeper.

Thanks to my lack of height I always looked better in training matches & fitness games/5 aside than I ever did on the real pitch. I did enjoy 5 aside though, despite being shite.

My footballing claim to fame is going through Ross 'man mountain' Rosco, arguably illegally, in an SCM match & living to tell the tale.

I will forever be gutter that my beautiful chip over you as you rushed out bounced off the bar.

I will also forever be scarred by the image of Bunnyman in his lycra shirt.......and his dancing and face stroking....

A a bit of an allrounder. Usually played on the wing. Quick, agile dribbler. Very selfish.
Could have made it with a little effort.
Lots of regrets.

Deep centre mid, picking through balls, occasional long range Worldy, still pretty quick too for 39.

I rely on my acceleration whilst touching the ball randomly lots of times, so it looks like I used skill to beat the player. I also never stop running. And I talk more to the opposition than my own team mates. Actually that's because they're my friends and have stuck me on the other team.

When I played at school and university my best skill was my passing, long or short, but because so many people always wanted to play midfield (and many of them were bigger than me) I generally ended up at fullback, which I got used to because I was reasonably nippy and not afraid to put my foot in. I started playing again 5 or 6 years after graduating and it was almost all five-a-side from then on (at which time I discovered something of a goal instinct which made me wonder if I could have done something further forward during my 11-a-side days, but there you go).

In rugby I'm a member of the front row union. At university I was known as The Happy Hooker.

Nope. It most certainly is not, I played it for 7 years !

It is. You may have played openside (with much verve and skill, no doubt) with #6 on your back but the openside almost exclusively wears #7. 6 is traditionally worn by the blindside flanker.

I was also a silky smooth winger in my rugby days. And my cricket and baseball ones.

CB, quick, strong, reads the game well, can tackle well, great positional sense, but loses concentration, absolute shit on the ball, complete lack of confidence at times, can't head the ball for shit either, but super fit, and can run all game if needs be.

Wears heart on sleeve, swears a lot.
