it's great ... and I really want Barca to win the league again just to see how Mourinho acts ... I wonder if his ego can ever deflate?

Me too. Nothing will irk Mourinho more than the accusation that a team of his has bottled it.

I thought the league was over a couple months ago. I'm quite surprised the gap has been reduced to 4.

That game was mental. Benzema could've had a hat-trick. The Di Maria save was sensational though.

Real will beat A.Madrid (who are a powder puff side) as usual. Perhaps BIlbao away after the Classico could prove key if Barca win.

Don't underestimate Atleti - they're talented enough to cause Madrid's backline problems. I thought Valencia tore right through them a few times. A draw was a fair result tbh, but it could have easily been 4-4 or something like that.

They're shit and they'll lose. I wonder what their record against Real is over the last few years - I can't remember them winning at all.

jose will walk regardless but it will be much better if he leaves with his tail between his legs although I would like to see xabi and arbeloa get winners medals

Tbh, I can't remember them winning but they've come close a few times ... I hope Atleti beat them (though doubtful)

After today's goal-less draw with Spurs, Martin O'Neill has managed 33 points out of 54 in the league.

I'd like Ross to explain how this is possible given he's suggested on many occasions that O'Neill has only been successful due to expensive signings.

It's the same thing going on that happened last season to us with the manager you think is horrendous.

Most new managers have a honeymoon period.

A 6 month honeymoon? Long one.

I'll expect to see them struggle next season then so. Best we keep an eye on it though.

I hope O'Neill spends the £70 Million he'll get in the summer on better players than we did.
