I've never seen a team down just a goal with less than a minute remaining of injury time and with comfortable possession do less to attempt to generate a scoring opportunity.
It was bizarre. They went side to side for twenty minutes and put in one shit cross. What a pathetic display by a relegation threatened side ‘chasing’ an equaliser.

The only possible defence is that perhaps the camera angle is playing tricks with us and the Brentford player was already past him when he started swinging the elbow - so it was a gesture of frustration aimed at a referee, not an attempt to hit someone.
If it’s the latter, definitely deserved a sending off.
