I just saw the table. Wigan 2nd from bottom. What is it about Martinez that I am missing?

Villa is very poor. Lucky win. West Ham also poor except for Joe Cole, who looks like a footballer.

Carroll… He looks to me like he is tired of having to contest every floating pass in his direction. I think Fat Sam pigeonholed him too much into this "target man" role. Andy has more versatility in his game, but it's not being utilized.

Can't wait for Giggs to retire. The fucking moaning and gesturing towards refs when he "thinks" its a foul is ridiculous.

Given our abysmal record against Utd in recent times, I dont think we have any right to criticize the bitters or Spurs. I think both of them have much better record against Utd than us.

Exactly. Spurs and Everton have took points off utd this season so anyone having a go needs to have a look at themselves. What have we took off them?

I watched the game with blues today. Everton weren't great but they had a lot of possession, just couldn't create much. Utd defended very well.

At the end of the day they have a striker who is up there with the best in the world and has won them this league. They paid the money for a 29 year old and it's worked. Fair play to them.

Everton couldnt really create anything today as Pete said although they had a fair bit of posession.
Some of their players look jaded and I wouldnt be surprised to see them drop a few places down the table in the next few months.

Thought you meant down the years, not just this season.

I meant in the context of last two years. If you look at the league performances against Utd in the last two years

We have one point, Spurs have four, Everton have four.

I guess if you look at the last 10 years maybe we outperform Spurs and Everton. But given the number of defeats we have faced against them, I dont think it gives us the right to criticize them.

Are they still in the FA Cup? Hope so.
