The WHL crowd are horrible. When Spurs are leading they sing like there is tomorrow, but on 1-1 they're almost booing their own players.
Its like being at a game at the Emirates.

There's no way monkey face will be at spurs next season, I fully believe those stories from the summer that he's using this season to play himself into a move to a big spanish side.

Whether or not he is angling for a move IMHO it's wrong to think that a player can turn his game on / off like that. I'm sure he gives 100% in every match (as do the vast majority of players) regardless of his transfer (or not) situation. AVB said he believes Spurs need to get into the CL for Bale to stay, I'd say even then it is only 50/50.

Yea I agree, it's wrong to suggest he's these performances are turned on purely for the move, he's a good player. The stories were that the big sides were wary of spending such a big amount on him unless he proved it's not just a good run of form and he's not injury prone. I do think though he has very little interest in saying there long term and it's in the back of his head to prove his form and fitness.

He just said in his interview it's important for him to keep performing like that, not mentioning the team until directly asked about them. I might be reading too much into him but most players deflect the praise to the team and say something obvious about how the personal performance doesnt matter so much if the team is winning.

Yep, this weekend has been shite so far.
Currently watching Dortmund-Hamburg, Son looks some player
