What gives..??

Poor tonight, but he is better than that..

I said in the match thread he needs a goal, a worldie at best to get him back..

But now I really think he needs a rest.. Is he suffering from Fatigue?

Time to give Michelin man a go?

Southampton would be a good place to start to do this..

We need him back if we are going to compete this season.. Our attacking looks a little bit fruitless without him on his game it has to be said..

its called form...
That's it though, world class players still manage to have input in some way even when not in form..

Salah tbh was incredibly sloppy at times..

Two misplaced passes in the space of a few minutes, one which led to PSG equaliser..

That was piss poor by anyone's standards

I think he looks fucked tbh, there were times to night where he looked sharp on the turn again. But some of his passing and shooting is well underhit, like someone who's got fuck all in the tank.

His reaction on the bench was pathetic though.

He needs a rest.

That being said he offers little when he’s not playing well.

At least Suarez always worked his arse off.

Wasn't that a good 10 secs after the goal?
Apparently did have his hand up after so a bit unfair to judge that reaction as anything else.

It’s hard to say if he’s tired, mentally drained, or whatever, but he’s certainly in a poor spell of form.

And let’s not even start on his bench antics. It may have looked weird at first , but come on, do we REALLY think he was furious that we scored? Behave

Agree, I think his reaction is more that he is disappointed in himself. He knows he can do better and as a result believes he should still be on the pitch. More than likely he would have been in the position Bobby was when he received the ball for goal.

He needs a rest though, he just half a yard off it. The CL heartache, shoulder injury, WC hopes and barely any rest just taking his toll a little I guess. He will be back on it soon (well he better fucking had be).

There's certainly something up mentally. I mean, I said a while ago he still has a pretty pointless bit of sticky strapping on his shoulder, and he's STILL got it on tonight. That's not going to relieve any pain, it's just a psychological comfort. He needs to move on.

He's a wonderful player and as has been said, class will out. There is a new challenge this season - defenders are over him like a rash. The other players need to work on helping him with their movement. And I think he needs to concentrate on getting into position for the final touch because otherwise he'll just get clattered.

Give him a few more games. It will only take one game, one touch, and he'll be back.

Exactly, annoyed in himself and his poor performance funny thing was he juts popped up with a goal that was disallowed harshly.

He was subdued tonight, he played a few poor passes. Still, it's not a fitness issue it just bad luck and poor form imo.

Next he'll be given x amount of games before he needs to be sold. Yeah he was sloppy at times but we have to just wait for it all to click back into gear. We are top of the league and now top of our CL group. His form would be a bigger worry if we were struggling.

On a side note, why did he take his under armour off whilst taking that corner? Was it to show the strapping and show the world he's still struggling with injury?

Conspiracy theorists assemble.

I think he's fine. Defenders are alot tighter and more savvy to his twists and turns this season, he's lost that second of reaction time from the defender which made him look slower than last season.

He is however still a threat and despite of his shooting boots he is still able to thread some intricate passes in tight situations to help our cause.

If it is not for a bizarre refereeing decision he would have gotten that 3rd and we would not be having this conversation so...

True..

Last season this would of been a huge worry post Coutinho leaving...

He was the magical man.. There was a game last season he had 4 shots and scored 4, he was that good.. And Roma.. He won us that game single handedly in the first leg..

I sure he will come back to form as others have said, class is permanant n all that, but you do wonder what gives...

Probably the worst I've seen him play in a Liverpool shirt tonight..

Mayhap he was hot ...

An Egyptian mate of mine who's a massive Reds fan says it's down to the pressure he's being put under by the Egyptian FA.
I'm not sure exactly what the issue is but he said that Mo will probably have to retire from international football and not go back to Egypt.

Well if the PSG fans where anything to go by.. That could very well be the case

On a side note

We probably would have drawn this game last season.. ie Sevile..

So Salah aside, you got to be happy with the result

As bad as he was tonight.... He still wasn't properly bad was he?

He tired and his passes went to cock, but he was still a great outlet

Think it's the strain of super stardom, and his ongoing battle with the Egyptian FA
Yeah like he made a sloppy pass which ultimately lead to a goal but he was creative and busy throughout and had a goal ruled out.

He didn't stink the place out. Defenders are still shit scared of him.

The sub probably hit hard because it was right after that mistake. He'll rightly feel disappointed.

He did work hard though and has still been producing the odd moment of quality even if on the whole he looks out of sorts.

I'm not sure what's going on but Klopp needs to work with him to take the pressure off. Hard to know what the best solution is in these situations because ultimately what he needs are a few goals, which a rest isn't going to provide.

I didn't watch the while game but those corners in the first half were really bad.
It's like he was trying to shoot from the corner whipping it towards the keeper and making it quite easy for them, Virgil look pissed off having made his way to the box.

I think it's mental with him and klopp needs to sit him down and tell him to stop being a dick.
Back to basics simple passes and don't be so selfish he's not carrying the club on his shoulders he doesn't need to prove anything he needs to help the team win

Been saying it for 4 weeks. Drop him.
Let him learn humilty.
He needs taking down a peg or two.
His attitude stinks.

You’ve seen him play worse in another shirt? If he ever did I’m surprised we bought him. He was shockingly bad. I think he needs rest/benching.
