Wouldn't surprise me if sterling was up top and Sturridge on the bench.

Maybe due to shortness of players, balo might actually start if Sturridge isn't fit

We struggle at the Emirates and Arsenal have 7 or 8 concecutive wins in the league at home.

This will be very tough. Hopefully Rodgers gets the players fired up.
If we lose top 4 is gone.

Just go attack them like we did at Anfield last year. Ill could watch those first twenty minutes any day of my life 🙂

We have to be aggressive and put them under pressure and not let them get their game going.

COME ON REDS!!!!!

No Ballo.

Studge on bench.

Toure ahead of Lovren.

Lucas back.

First reaction - worried.

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Can, Toure, Sakho, Allen, Lucas, Henderson, Moreno, Coutinho, Markovic, Sterling.
Substitutes: Jones, Johnson, Lovren, Manquillo, Brannagan, Sturridge, Borini.

Arsenal have won just 1 of their last 10 home games against Top 5 sides.
Liverpool have won just 2 of our last 20 games away at Arsenal.

So there'll be no winner today

It's pointing that way .. and TBH I'd be happy with a point. A win there is not crucial in my estimation. Of course we have to do well but I think I had us down as going 7-1-2 being enough for 4th before United's game. I still think that would be enough so a draw here gives us the leeway for a loss away at Chelsea or a slip-up somewhere else. Of course a win would be fantastic but I don't like the team without Sturridge and Skrtel and with Moreno at LWB, and Arsenal are now at full strength.

Liverpool have won just one of their last 18 away games in all competitions against Arsenal, and this fixture has seen more hat-tricks than any other match in Premier League history (five).
The Gunners have won their last eight Premier League games at the Emirates. The last time they were on a longer run was in November 2005 (13).

Normally I'm quite optimistic but I fear we are going to get our arses handed to us today. I'm not inspired at all by that line up.

We're gonna give these a game today if nothing else.

Lucas will give us strength exactly where we need it, & sterling up top will cause them loads of trouble.

Hapoy with that side considering.

Fuck me, did Rodgers fall asleep on the sunbed?!

I'm guessing he's had a chemical peel he's that red.

He'll be having plastic surgery at this rate.

Brendans gaze lingered just long enough when asked about Raheems contract to suggest he's sick of being asked.

Nah, he then touched his lips with his tongue, classic body language giveaway, means he was thinking about his words carefully.

BT Sports lineup includes Harry, Ian Wright and Michael Owen now. They're really pushing their luck.
