the problem is that they are so shit that they may not even want to win it and go deliberately out of it - given them total focus on the league. If you keep a team in the CL - it keeps them hungry because they along with their coach would be delusional enough to think they can win it. We just wanted them in their for another two games as a distraction. The EL is not really a distraction - he will play the non first team players and just go out to focus on the league.
