This is not a thread for sensationalist shite.

There are no feelings in this thread.

Are you done with Rodgers. Yes/No?

I am.

Yeah he can't turn this around at this point.
As a matter of fact he's not even trying, there's some sort of terrifying apathy surrounding the club.

I'd never claim to be the most ardent, or passionate Liverpool supporter, but I've had my days ruined/made by this great club.
This is the first time in my 25 years supporting this club, that I've been apathetic.

That says it all

Yes. I'd fallen for his bullshit, then @gkmacca tore his personality and thought processes to shreds, combined with his crap football and results, I'm done. But turning my attention to @gkmacca who is all of a sudden eager to give that dick a chance again. As if to mock me.

I've passed the point of not feeling sorry were he to go. I'm not against him carrying on because I don't share the faith many of you have in the alternatives. However if the owners decide it's time then fair enough. I won't get into all of this 'he's a cunt' nonsense though...he deserves better than that.

I said at the start of the season if he made it past 10 games he'd survive the season. I don't think he'll make it past 10. He's dropped 5 points in the must win home games.

He needs to go

He used to genuinely try before, when there were bad results you could tell from his reaction and the tone of his voice he was thinking about how to fix it, and he wanted to build a legacy at this club and follow his plan through. It kept him going. Somewhere along the line he realised he's not going to make it that far. Now he is totally disinterested. You can tell from the way he talks he's defeated, confused and lacks determination. He talks shit after every match, we need to do this and that, rinse and repeat the following week. If he had any pride left, he'd fuck off.

No, the right replacement. How about that?
Fair enough. Sorry I wasn't trying to be a clever arse I was just trying to understand where you are on this compared to me. I wouldn't be sorry to see him go but the reason I'm not calling for it is because I don't see any realistic successors out there in whom I'd have any more confidence than I have in Rodgers.

I'm pretty much the same. The job is beyond Rodgers. He's had a good go and nearly did it by coming second (I don't believe it was all Suarez since Rodgers clearly managed to get the best out of Henderson, Sterling, Sturridge, Skrtel etc) but his third season was where he should have pushed on and failed pretty badly.

FSG committed to his fourth season possibly because no one else was readily available for the right price or reason.

He should have been axed after the stoke thrashing. I would have preferred that. Would have been so easy. Somehow he hung in there.

He most likely has until the Everton or Chelsea game. After the backing he recieved that seems about right.

A couple of hacks were briefed, very much off the record, that Brendan's got until November to turn it around. I suspect that'll be right. But it won't take much to speed that up - a Hodge-like league cup debacle, preferably in the pouring rain, like against Northampton, and that'll be that. Personally, I'd give him a few more games, with Studge in action, to show he can revive the positive things, and then, if not, sadly, it'll be the end.
