tough one. cristiano has been consistently better at a higher level for a longer period of time. however, ronaldo reached a higher level at his peak - in other words, both at their best, I would just give it to ronaldo.

I much prefer the real Ronaldo as a man and as a player. But the blag Ronaldo is better and if I were building a team and could pick either or age (let's say) 23 I'd pick the blag one.

As a fan I pick the real one, but as a realist the blag one. He's devastating as a player.

watching some youtube clips of Ronaldo and Cristiano and I think history has done ROnaldo a disservice. One thing that distinguishes ronaldo from the cristiano is the close ball control in confined spaces - C9 is great, but especially whilst running at players and using his pace and go at space, whereas Ronaldo was incredible from starting position and using sheer skills to go around players. tough one again.

Nothing like a healthy debate. Each to their own and here is no denying both were/is amazing players. I wish one of them played for LFC though.....
