i still don't understand why we need another squad player signing in Salah . What's the point , Aspas , Alberto , Moses are already here to sit on the bench and do fuck all .

I reckon he's a starter as well, he and Sterling can fight out for the right wing.
I've only seen him play twice, both times against Chelsea, but there was enough evidence to suggest he could be more of a Coutinho-signing than an Alberto signing..
I said the same thing - he may be better than the 1st two you mentioned (Moses better get sent back to Chelsea the twat), but surely we have more pressing issues? We need another CM, or FB ...
I saw this earlier too, and I actually think we need a player like this. He's got a nasty streak, but he also is a good smart player and would be able to offer competition to Lucas for his position. I can't see Seerdorf selling him though.

The fact is that under BR we don't do bad transfers in January ... those are the reserve of the summer window.

Isn't he first choice CB at Bayern? And he's also cup tied in CL.
It sounds hugely unlikely particularly as they have Vidic, Evans, Jones, Smalling and Ferdinand. It would be funny though as it would be an admission that Fergie spunked away nearly £30m on Smalling and Jones.
Jones is an EXCELLENT player ... Smalling looks like he's not going to be anything better than solid.
Vidic - leaves in the summer.
Ferdinand - probably leaves too, or 1 year cnotract

Valon Berisha is not good enough for us. Similar to Alberto, Suso and Texeira so I dont see the point either.
He had a trial at Chelsea when he was 14/15 and I'm guessing Rodgers was there at the time. Houllier is also Sporting Director or something for Salzburg fwiw.
