[article=http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2542949/Newcastle-transfers-Remy-Cabella-set-13th-French-signing-summer.html#ixzz2qzX8ztpL ]Newcastle have agreed a deal with Montpellier to sign Remy Cabella in the summer.

Montpellier chairman Laurent Nicollin said: ‘We have an agreement with the leaders of Newcastle that I will not reveal. But it does not include a departure for Remy before June.’

The player's father Hector Cabella had earlier suggested that his son would sign during the current transfer window, telling Actuafoot.fr: 'Yes we are negotiating for Rémy - and yes he will join Newcastle this winter.'

I wouldn't bank on it, still side-lined (ACL, so doubtful before April) so it is probably with a view to a nominal fee/release next year.

Shame, I really liked the idea of Coates as well. He and Sakho could have been a great future partnership, if Coates had developed as we initially hoped.

[article]Sky Sports Reported last night Newcastle were after Salah[/article]

Why do I get the sense we're not remotely interested in Salah?

[article]According to Sky, Manchester City 'teenage sensation' Dele-Bashiru is attracting the interest of the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool.[/article]

Mata even at 37 million is a bargain.

His stats for goals/assists from the 2 seasons before this are mental

Neville made a good point last night though - he doesn't fit into the Manure formation. Just like they can't get the best out of Kagwa (he can't handle the middle, nor can he play on the wing), Mata may struggle unless Moyes is about to play one striker (RvP/Rooney) with Mata behind him.

OUr defense is a mess. It would be a mistake imo.

Flanagan - Skrtel/Toure - Sakho - Enrique is pretty good back 4 and hopefully Rodgers sees the light sooner rather than later. Both Flanagan, Enrique and Sakho will all be fit before the end of January so that may influence Rodgers' thinking. It is at DM we need to strengthen and a wide, scoring, midfielder would not go amiss.

I actually think that Kagawa *can* handle the middle and that Moyes not picking him there is hampering them, and doing Moyes himself no good at all.

Breaks your heart, doesn't it?

20 is a bit young to be "going home" though.

No disrespect to PSG but if I were a young player of immense potential I'd want to prove myself at a more competitive league. Lucas Mouras did go there..

Seriously ? Prove oneself after playing at United (youth) and now Juve ? Turning down PSG and a bucketful of cash ? Money money money talks. He'll go where they pay the most.

[article]According to Sky, Liverpool have secretly admitted they have no money to spend and are desperately scouring for cheap, bargain loans. That's how pathetic they have become.[/article]

Football now is about squads and "best 11", rooney and rvp are currently out, mata is astounding replacement

I think that is manager-speak for

"No, we have no money. We would never overpay for the flavour of the month..35m?? No No..No. and we are not desperate for a LB. Cissokho is fine. We certainly don't need Salah. He can't play DM anyway..... Hey, can we have him for 7m? You know, just askin"..

Surley Mourinho wont sell Mata to Utd. That would be insane even by Mourinhos standards
