Woohoo.
"We were in dreamland when we got that corner early doors. Unfortunately for us they went up the other end and banged in three goals without reply. If you take those three goals out of the equation I think any fair minded observer would have said we were the equal of them and deserved the goalless draw. But football's a cruel game, one moment you're winning a corner and then 83 minutes later you've lost 3-0. We can only keep doing what we've been doing and hope that eventually what we're doing works out. What is losing these days anyway? I'm not sure I know myself, but the fact is we lost. But on another day we could've quite easily not lost and that's what we've got to be focused on"
Is this true Mac?Levy has been playing hardball and the FA is scared stiff of how much it will cost to get Redknapp. It was decided as a consequence to avoid being publicly identified as only wanting Redknapp, so another candidate had to be contacted to give the FA even the slightest bargaining chip with Spurs.
My brain hurts after reading that.I nicked this off Facebook. I've read four times now & it still astounds me.
Fucking useless twat, the FA & he deserve each other.
this is ridiculous. Its clear a young (ish) manager needs to be brought in & this tourney used to blogs the next generation of players only, with all eyes on the next world cup.
Cracking post.I don't think age should be an issue in international management, I think success should be the only criteria.
I'm also not sure about blooding the next generation either, international football should be about winning trophies and nothing else. The best players for doing that should be picked, and ideally the top professional leagues should blood the players for you. The standard in the premiership is actually arguably better than international matches anyway so the player shouldn't really need to be "blooded". If the prem teams aren't bringing though young players then I think that is a problem that needs to be solved at a domestic level rather than an international level.
In saying all that, Roy is a cunt.
This is very true 🙂i reckon he'll be alright, seems to work quite well with shite english players, and thats all we've got
Good news for Carroll.
I reckon he likes the "big man upfront" tactic. I recall us being linked with C.Cole when he was around.
Considering Rooney's suspension I reckon they'll bring 5 strikers.Ah right. I reckon Crouch might be ahead of him in the pecking order though - if Hodgson goes for a target man up front.
Crouch has had a very good season in fairness.
Considering Rooney's suspension I reckon they'll bring 5 strikers.
Rooney, Welbeck, Crouch, ? and ??.
Haha, true. Rooney is alright though. I think England can field a top class starting XI.That just goes to show how shit England are if they are relying on those three as their main strike force.
Yeah. Mellberg, Mexes and the rest will be laughing.Sturridge probably? Defoe? Zamora?(LOL) Carlton Cole?(ROFL)
Yeah thats a good line up as well. Dunno if Scholes will play though.
Walker instead of Johnson?
A little bias please.
