I've got a kids party from 4 this afternoon. I've just been informed by the kids dad that in attendance will be 3 aussies.

What makes the ball swing in the air is possibly the most debated subject in cricket! Apart from the weather conditions, other factors come into it such as "ball tampering." In grounds that are near the sea, there is usually a theory that the ball swings more when the tide comes in!

The levels of bias in this fucking Sky commentary are a disgrace.

"Where did it all go wrong?"

Fuck. Off.

Why not focus on where it went right for a 19 y/o kid on debut whalloping the worlds best bowlers all over Nottingham.

They are an English broadcaster though, so it's to be expected. I don't think they're giving them no credit, but it's only natural to ask what went wrong.

It's cricket mate. The one sport where commentators should at least try to be impartial. It's completely unprofessional.
 
Anyway back to the game.

If I was Cook if be furious at the junk that Finn bowled up this morning. Continually bowling short into a number 11 when you've 3 slips and a gulley in place is woeful for a bowler of his calibre.

Arrogant bowling that's cost them.
 
Great performance, only at the last moment did he betray his true age.

Ah well, can't see him being last in the order for long, 19 years old or not.

I think youre hearing it the way some Liverpool fans hear Andy Gray mate, there was bags of praise for the two lads in.

Couldn't agree more. It's an odd thing to will the opposition to do well but that's what I was doing. Shame he didn't get his ton but what an innings and what a day. Test cricket at it's finest! 🙂

The BBC on the other hand are loaded with Aussies like McGrath and makes for some great banter.
 
A pleasure to watch todays play. As a little aside I though KP and Cook did very well in that last session. Tomorrow is going to be amazing!
