Well said mate!
Allthough i feel a little uneasy saying it with no Welsh lads contributing this time around.

Well just say well done England, South Africa and all the other countries that made up the team then 😉

Ha.
It looks likely that England (&Wales) will have 3 SA's in the team going on tour over there this winter.
I see that England have lined up another SA and West Indian that qualify for the team soon as well 🙂

i hate all this we have SA folk in our team ETC ETC. It was like all the fuss made over Peterson being captain when we have had other SA born players captaining us before. Trott was born in SA but both his parents are English, so he is english. If your English parents are in he forces and you are born in Germany you are not German are you.
Its not like the 80s where SA players had to play for us as they were banned. All sports leverage rules for getting other players in form abroad, fuck me Rugby and Athletics are worse as is football (brazilians for hire).
Well done England, loved it even though when I went to the OVal on Thursday it actually turned out the be the worst day of the match
SA on tour will be very tough, drop Collingwood from squad and of course Harmisson and play this 11.

collingwood deserves to stay in the squad but not the team, you talk about his 70 odd at cardiff but you say drop cook who only score about 20 less than him in the series facing the new ball but got a higher individual score.
You have to think of the future as well, cook and bopara (who has had a great start to his england career but is not a number 3 or 4) are young boys who can stay in the team for yrs. Collingwood is at then end of his.
There is no doubt he is a battler and can save games but that is not what we are looking for. Aussies dominated world cricket for yrs playing aggressive cricket, scoring at 4 or more an over. I was at the oval Thursday watching Collingwood and Bell going at less than 2 an over and its not going to win you matches unless pitches cut up as the oval did.
Make the odd tweak and this could be a good england side for years to come.
