Is Klopp fucking Ibe or something ? After nearly every game he has his arm around him and stroking him and who knows what else. Whats going in there ?

It was a penalty though. Didnt think it was soft. Turn your back to the cross with your arms raised and making your body bigger. If it hits your arn its a penalty.

We played some great football for the first 30 mins. Hard fought win and massive 3 points.
Everyone worked hard. Onwards and upwards.

I fucking told you lot. This is it now for the rest of the season. A load of shite teams are gonna come to bore us to death and hit us on the counter. Given that we have Coutinho out, to win two of these games in a few days is fucking boss.

We're gonna win the league.

You being serious with this us winning the League talk or is it like so tongue in cheek like?

2 points off 5th, 3 points off 4th and 6 points off the top.

It's going to be a roller coaster season for sure. As a Liverpool supporter I am naturally going to be biased but seeing this : Under Klopp. DDDWWWLWWW. P10. W6. D3. L1. and knowing that we've already played away at City, United, Arsenal, Spurs, Stoke, Everton & Chelsea and they all have to come to Anfield, I feel confident we will be in the mix for 2nd - 4th come the end of the season.

Everton have a strong team and if they can keep injury free and Stones away from Chelsea in January (and Lukaku stays on his brilliant form) then they could also surprise.

Leicester can't maintain this form, they didn't look great against United and they have quite a few average players at best, they really have excelled themselves so far due to the form of Vardy, Mahrez and Drinkwater but it won't last. Top 10 though.

Spurs are now 13 or 14 unbeaten and looked better than Chelsea today, Arsenal have an excellent squad (when fit - Sanchez and Koscielny both injured today) and United are tough to beat but their lack of goals could cost them in the end if they don't buy a proven striker in January.

I think City will slowly pull away and win it but after that it's anyone's guess and you could make a case for any of 3 from 5 or even 6 if Chelsea can get their act together, it's worked in their favour that the league is so close this season and they really aren't that far away when we consider there are still 24 matches to play !

Us and Citeh the only sides to have won on the weekend after playing in europe midweek. United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs all dropped points.

Even we were shite, but managed a win. We've been really poor every Sunday after Europe actually. Will be nice to see us get to prepare for a full week ahead of each league game during this winter break.

Reasonably excited to see what Klopp can do with a side that he gets to prepare for 7 days.

Serious. Look at everyone else. They're all shite.

Look at who are above us...

1) Man City. We just fucked them 4-1 away. A load of shite
2) Leicester. They're having a good run, it won't last, because in real life they're a load of shite
3) Man U. The most turgid, backward, shitward, fuckwad load of shite side they've had for thirty years.
4) Arsenal. Shithouses. They fall apart every March, and Sanchez just done his hamstring. Load of shite
5) Spurs. Surely I don't need to explain why they're a load of shite.

We're gonna win the league.

Don't we have Southampton mid-week?

Fair points very fair. Was great to grind out the win today no doubt but I still worry about us at home. Maybe a 3 or 4 nil thrashing at home to some crap team will restore order.

It's gonna be hard to do. Every single team we play at home is gonna try and shithouse a point. The next side we play at home is a Pulis one. We mightn't look great, it'll probably be a chore to watch, but we'll probs win. I can see us fucking Newcastle properly next Sunday though.

I was going to mention this in the match thread, Moreno has been simply superb the last five odd games, not getting forward as much, but really solid, some outstanding tackles and always an available pacey outlet, love the little chipmunk.

There were stories the other day about Madrid being interested. He's had a great season so far, I was pretty much finished with him and Lovren in the Summer, I'm still not convinced by the latter, but fair play to both of them.

Milner was perfect today in the sense that he won everything and fought for everything. Every loose ball he had no right to get to, everything.

Another thing is... If Chelsea hit the same form they won the title with last season, they'd finish on 70 points. Last season you needed 70 to finish fourth.

14 games, 15 points
Last season, 38 games 87 points
87 / 38 * 24 (games left) = 55 + 15 = 70.

And they don't look like hitting championship winning form. We can write them off for fourth.

HaHa - I suppose it is. I started the season with £100 (as I always do) and see where I end up at x-mas. If I'm in the negative I draw the lot out and don't bother for the rest of the season. Otherwise I take out half of my overall stake and kick on. I'm on £172 at the moment 😀
So taking candy from a baby actually had you at $52 if we hasn't won 1-0?

We are only 8 points better than them though.
