Yeah, he's struggling in this system, he goes against the way he naturally plays. Also when he's knackered, it's even worse, he realised he can't do the basics & is letting the side down so tries harder to score & makes the situation worse.
It'll be interesting to see what happens when sahin is fully fit.

Always. Actually I was massively gay at the last drinkies. I hadn't had a drink for months and I was already pissed after the few before the game. I could barely speak by 7pm. I don't talk much sense at the best of times and this may have been a new low.

I don't completely agree with your sentiment regarding Henderson....but that comment really did me make me laugh 🙂
Isn't it terrific when a hotly tipped youngling actually steps up? The thing is he is definitely getting better at a rate. He already seems to have more variety to his play, and of course more positional sense than he did a few months ago with the reserve team. Exciting times.

Ha! Love watching him play. You could see his confidence growing yesterday, and the other players passing it more and more to him. Gerrard found him loads of times and when they subbed the left back you knew Sterling was having a great game.
