Look at me. I am the captain now.

I know Lucas has a big fan club but I would love us to sell him. I hate his stupid, clumsy fouls. They aren't even competent fouls. It's not what you want to see in a defensive midfielder. I feel so nostalgic for Mascherano! 🙁
That one he was lucky not to be sent off for epitomises his clumsy stupidity and shows what a fucking liability he really is

That second half was fucking shit. We have no discernible tactics other than pass around at the back and then give it to Mignolet to hoof it away. I had no confidence in us grabbing a second goal at all there.

So Rodgers, without world class players like Suarez, can't set up a team to attack, nor defend. We need a change.

Strange interview with Brendan after the game. He should've cut it short. He talked on and ended up sounding a bit forlorn.

Arsenal in 5 minutes have put together more attacking incisive moves than we have this season.

He said that the defensive mistakes had been happening 'throughout my time here'. Then he said it's a rebuilding job 'whether it's me or someone else here'. Then he waffled on about how pleased he's been to be associated with the club. Then he said he'd fight on until told otherwise.

Did he mention he'll leave no stone unturned?

From the man who said he didn't need a defensive coach. Cockhead.

@AdamLovlallana: Rodgers "I've never felt anything other than secure. The owners as much as anyone know the rebuilding that needs to be taken" #lfc

@thisisanfield: Rodgers: "There is a constant rebuilding going on here, whether that's me in charge or someone else."

Draw a fair result.. though Everton I felt had a missed opportunity here..

But more importantly.. Sky Bet have stopped taking bets on BR to be sacked next..

Woohoo.. Looks like this was very much his last game in charge

As I said a few days ago, he beggars belief with such a comment. The sheer nerve! He's like a PM who realises he's been in power a bit too long to keep blaming everything on the previous regime, so switches to the idea of chronic problems which are ott of everyone's hands. He took over a squad that had been to two cup finals, winning one of them, and claimed he had the mother of all challenges to get it several places higher up in the league. Then he had a great season. Then he again started claiming he'd been handed a near impossible job. Then another one. The guy is amazing.

I didn't think it was too bad an effort, given the standard of recent performances. Ings is a breath of fresh air. Most of the players fought fairly hard. Lucas played the pass of his career in the first half, and got booked for a perfectly fair interception (idiotic trip mind you). Ming again showed that, for all of his inadequacies, he's an outstanding shot stopper. Neither Coutinho nor Milner were on song but at least Milner kept working and trying. Atkinson, as per, was abysmal.

Sums it up pretty well for me.

That sounds very much like he's accepted his fate.

In his post match.. he did seem very defeated... Very down... Like he knew his time is up.

Though I had to laugh when he said we have lost 4 key players since my time here, rebuild this and rebuild that..

You have spent over 300 million.. it's your job as the manager to help identify the replacements..

For that reason I can have no sympathy for the man what-so-ever..

He said no one at the club has ever set him a top 4 target. FSG aren't arsed as long as the cash keeps rolling in. I don't think they will sack him and if they do they'll appoint another yes man.

Something is happening

Some bookies have stopped taking bets in the last hour, whilst with others the odds have shortned to a point where you have to say it's a dead cert..

Im sitting in this camp as well....

Also i do think we should stop hanging on to every word he says in the presser to try and find new ways of belittling him.....
People can belittle whoever they want, as long as they're prepared to be belittled as well.
