The four key players Rodgers refers to...who are they?

Suarez, Gerrard, Sterling...who else?

Anyway he has had a ton of money to replace them...i dont think he is entitled to make that kind of claim.

If he gets fired...it will be down to his failure. He can blame no one and he has been given adequate time.

Think he means Reina.

Carra?

Anyhow, yes, he's had time and money. I suspect the only thing he's got going for him is that he didn't get his (or the TC) primary transfer targets.

McCarthy did a great job on Coutinho today which cut off any creative lines to Sturridge. Sturridge was anonymous but only because there was no-one to get the ball to him. He ended up tracking back to try to get in the game more but that just put him into contention with their midfield. Not an ideal spot for him obviously.
I think someone called it earlier but their midfield was > than ours.

Lucas should get some lessons from Carra on how to foul properly.

Ever tried.
Ever fouled.
No matter.
Try again.
Foul again.
Foul better.

Did Sturridge celebrate Ings' goal yesterday?

From what i could see he whinhged like a baby in tbe play up to the corner ad ings didnt/couldn't square it.

I thought i saw him trudging away pissy during the celebrations of the goal too, although i may be mistaken

Nah, Sturridge and Ings were chatting just before the corner was taken and Sturridge gave Ings an affection tap on the bottom. It's all good.

I made that comparison in the other thread. Nice wan Sean Bradbury, whoever you are.

Yep, he also got over to the celebration after a few of the others. Can't be upset with him being annoyed in the heat of the moment for not getting a pass to put him clean through, but he got over it quickly.

Martinez was playing down Everton's chances pre game yesterday because of the money spent.
They really love playing on the poor boy mentality.
I'm fucking sick of it.
Can someone organize a concert or something to raise funds for them.
Maybe get Paul Simon to sing 'Diamonds on the souls of her shoes' and dedicate it to all the teams that finish above Everton.
Small time wankers.
