Slow start but what a half it turned out to be!
HT ratings:
Bogdan 6 - Hasn't had too much to do and their goal was impossible to save.
Randall 6 - Started off slow, but started to gain confidence as the game progressed
Skrtel 7 - Hasn't put foot wrong
Lovren 6 - Dodgy at times but decent performance
Moreno 7 - At fault for the goal but he rectified it with a belter of a shot.
Lucas 7 - Doing his job well.
Allen 7 - Great assist and looking very good.
Can 7 - That assist to Sturridge's goal was Suarez-esque.
Lallana 6 - Is doing a lot of running but not much end product. Decent performance
Origi 5 - The game is just passing him by. Isn't that involved and looks uncomfortable with the ball.
Sturridge 8 - What a comeback!! Two great finishes. Hopefully more to come.

Two simply wonderful passes from Allen and Can there. But you have to finish and that left foot strike for the first was pure venom

Missed Origi flicking that under the keeper the first time. Good stuff.
He sure is. Sadly we'll see a dip in goal return over the next couple of weeks as he finds match fitness if history is anything to go by (he always seems to come back with goals then dip a little before finding his feet again).
Sadly that isn't gonna help. Sturridge injures himself in training too.
I've often wondered if more players get injured in training than actual matches.
