Poyet played a blinder in his tactics tbf.

Yup. Part of that was down to Suarez himself though. Everyone wants him to break records this season but it looks like he's forcing it now and that doesn't help him or the team.

Except it wasn't. It was a nice, cruising game that a fecking IDIOT of a ref turned into a tricky second half. He's one of these FAKE refs who think if they only decide beforehand to favour the home side or the away side, or hurl cards early on or keep them for late on, he'll look okay - no matter what actually happens. The reality is he's fecking joke who doesn't have the balls to react in real time. It's always pre-planned in every match I've seen him. He's a quivering coward who shouldn't be let anywhere near big games.

As good as our attack is, they need to still physically create chances to score which can be stopped.

We could really use a few players that can just hit them from long range. Gerrard, Murphy, Berger, Redknapp, Fowler, Garcia. Mainly Berger.

It's not that he is more selfish than usual, his tricks just didn't come off today. Maybe Poyet did a very good job instructing his defenders on how to play against Suarez. Every time he tried to beat a player, he lost the ball. So many times he turned right into a tackle. The ref missed a couple of clear fouls as well.

No wonder Luis was frustrated as hell by the end. Maybe it's his karma for not passing for Sterling in the last game.

Coutinho is ALWAYS greedy, & doesn't score anywhere near enough goals to justify it.

I don't mind Suarez & Sturridge being greedy (although Fox does!) cos they score enough to justify being selfish.
