Pepe Reina has 8 clean sheets in this season's Premier League as have Friedel and Krul. Vorm and Hart have the most with 9.

Liverpool managed only one shot on target (from 15) v Stoke at Anfield on Saturday.

Neither Stewart Downing nor Jordan Henderson fashioned a single chance for their teammates in that game.

Ryan Shawcross has made more clearances than any other PL defender this season - at Anfield on Saturday he added another 21.

So its telling us what we all know, we need a striker and our defence and goalie are great and Dirk should stay on the bench 😉

Well done Binny and others, oh and we were really fourth in 2011

I simultaneously learned that Henderson is a forward, while reinforcing how fucking stupid it is to play him in any such role.

I hope that wasn't sarcasm, because if it was you'd look like such a whiny bitch.

Not at all, what a strange thing to say , you don't know me very well, I love this thread, it makes me feel smug, as it usually supports what I say and feel

"Statistically, Liverpool attempt 30 crosses per match in the Premier League, more than any other."

That is a sad statistic, because Carroll has hardly started most matches and not even spent much time on the pitch when he has come as a sub. Fact is we are not getting behind teams and not showing even creativity to go through them.

And Carroll has won the most headers of all strikers in the Premiership. Sadly stats dont win us games or goals.

That can'tbe true surely? ???

Hey Binny, can you get me a stat that tells me how mny times Charlie Adam has kicked the ball straight into fucking touch?

That is quite an ask, Ryan. 😛

12 – The average number of shots Liverpool have needed to score one goal, compared to 5 for Man City and Man Utd.

160 - The number of times the woodwork has been struck in the Prem Lge. most by Liverpool (19), fewest by Arsenal (3).

You're really taking it bad that I highlighted the post where you big-up Downing *and* Darren Gibson simultaneously, aren't you? Let it go, man.

1 - I'll continue; you've gone very quiet on Charlie Adam after his 15 minutes of fame. I note I'm not the only one to have pointed this out to you either.

2 - I said I "rate(d)" Downing but not at a high price. If that's your idea of "bigging up," you must be easily fucking pleased.

2 - But more importantly, it's a post from 3 and a half years ago. Are you that fucking desperate?

Obviously you are.

I still rate Adam, but admit he hasn't been at his best for a few games now. As to the other, you take yourself faaaaar too seriously. I have no desperation to show you up Ryan– life is much too short for that. I just thought the post was funny, particularly when you were bumping an old thread in an attempt at self-aggrandizing– your favourite hobby.

Back in 2001 I thought signing Lee Bowyer was a good idea. There may be a post on that on koptalk if you want to go and have a search.

Actually Binny, saved you the bother.

Against Bolton, in his 65 minute spell Charlie Adam played 1 pass into the opposition's penalty area.

He did though manage to misplace 18 passes. 18.

Holy fucking shit, I thought it was bad, but that stat is incredible.

On the upside from looking at it myself, he seems to be developing a great partnership with some new signing we've got called Zat Knight.

Why not? All that tells you is how frequently he's manages to get his head on it. It doesn't tell you anything about where the ball ends up.

Completely true.

I doubt Lucas has given the ball away 18 times in his entire career. But then, they're all "five yard passes" aren't they?

Staggering.

Charlie Adam's pass completion rate was a woeful 59% v Bolton. :-[

Fernando Torres has now failed to score in over 15 hours of football for club and country.

Liverpool would be in 16th place of a Premier League table constructed from the last six games.

David Silva has now claimed 12 PL assists this season. He has never before claimed more than seven in a league season in England or Spain.

Tottenham have picked up just eight points from seven games against other members of the top seven this season.

Or the one about how many times Enrique has pirouetted on the ball and over played it for no reason instead of making a simple pass forward.

Two good stats for us.

Liverpool has never lost a home leg in the Semis in the Legaue cup in 13 Semi finals.

Liverpool have never lost a two legged match after winning away the first game.

Thats the spirit 🙂
