0-0. Bit disappointing given we usually beat Spurs, but a clean sheet away from home, no retarded 3 at the back, and Benteke, Sturridge, Henderson all to come back in.

Mignolet probably our best player. Clyne was also good. Even Sakho looked very solid

Happy overall given the number of injuries. Thought we looked much better overall. Obviously don't have the fitness or personnel to press hard the full game and we're well short on class but a good effort. Ming man of match.

I thought the we nullified an extremely good side without looking great. Rafa got to a CL final doing that.

When you consider Benteke, Sturridge, Firmino, Ings, Henderson and Gomez are all injured and the lack of time Klopp has had to train with the players (just 2 days with the senior players on International duty), we played very well, there was obvious improvement, effort (we looked like we wanted to win - that had gone under BR) and tactical progress. Good point and a fair result

I liked what I saw. Relatively high intensity due to the constant pressing and we are not pussying out of any challenges anymore. It is a rare sight to see so many red shirts in the spurs half but we had the bodies in there, up till the last few minutes.

We might look a little devoid of ideas in the attacking front but that should come.

There is a different type of danger to a Klopp hug than a Brendan face touch.

With the Klopp hug you know there is a risk that a slap might come first. With a Brendan face tough there is a risk your face is only first base and he might work the touch down your body.

He is tenacious, he fights for every ball. But he is just a slightly above average striker really. He found his level with Spurs imo.
