Slot will be a little pissed another individual error could have tarnished an impeccable performance, but that third game should kill it.

The next goal will set the tone of the second half. Players just need to stay switched on and do nothing rash.

Oh other than that one where he bagged two goals, this has been Diaz best performance at nine. He's much more involved and connected.

Gomez, Gravy, Trent and Macca have all been superb (I can forgive Mac that one lapse in control). Robbo & Diaz deserve a big thumbs up too. Only Gakpo has been off form at the moment.

Spurs just make it too easy to play against - gaps appearing everywhere, we only step it up in the 2nd halves so this will get a lot worse for them.

Ange is tactically naive and well out his depth. Stubborn fat smug prick, Aussie Rodgers.

That was utterly glorious until that silly, sloppy mistake allowed them a thoroughly undeserved lifeline... That said, that third goal was poetry in motion - What a f$%!ing move!

It's a very relaxed 3-1, if there is such a thing - I just hope that we keep pressing in the second half, and don't allow them back into it again. We are so clearly the better team in every position on the pitch.

Everybody seems to be purring today, so far, but special mentions to a few genuinely outstanding performances... Trent is like a man possessed, Diaz has been running things up top, Joe's been quietly superb, and Szobo has been everywhere and peerless.

Another 45 minutes like that first half will certainly make for a very happy Christmas.

Macca superb?

Mistake cancels out the goal, otherwise he's been pretty meh.

He is, but it doesn't really say much. Except that our two real strikers have been missing for different reasons.
Like someone else said this is his second best performance while playing upfront.

I maybe rate his performances in that position a bit more highly than you and Squiggs. The above is fair enough as far as it goes but I don't think the situation demands a January signing for example. The summer may be a different story.

Ange is shaking his head at the start.
Shaking his head whenever they go behind.
Every shake throws his players under the bus
And then he whines in every presser

Not really Leadership
