Can have any as many strikers as you like but also need a more functioning midfield. Other teams don't have the strike force we have but a more creative midfield. Macca, Szbo and Jones need to do more this season. We are doing ok but there will be new midfielder still in Jan I think, Endo will be out.

I love Chiesa but I agree, its fucking disappointing that we signed a player that apparently is a shell of himself. I hope I'm wrong.

I do think chiesa will be alright for us; his performances for us so far showed a player with ability just zero fitness.

Genuinely can't wait for Elliott to be back and hopefully give slot a decision to make

Our press is less intense, but still high up the field. While our back line is deeper. Lots of gaps to cover.
Elliott will be running around on his short stumps, always a meter too late to anything

What do you expect from a player without a pre season and any pre season games moving to a new league with higher intensity? It will take time and some niggles will happen in the start. He has looked promising in his first few minutes and its a long season. According to Slot he is close to being back in training.
Give the kid a break and lets see what happens during the season.

The homesickness stuff was obviously bs as usual when it comes to media stories.
