So Wigan...

Slating another clubs fans cos they don't like their current manager, & singing their current managers name, despite not having sung our own managers name once, is out of order in my book.
And I would agree

I had similar problem when we sand kennys name before we sang for rodgers.

As did I. Again, I understood the context & agreed with the sentiment, but I just don't think you can do it without causing offence to your current manager & making it look like you're undermining him.

Without reina the score would be interesting. The amazing on the day goal keeper normally happens to our opponents

Whilst I've applauded a couple of his saves today, the majority of them have been fairly close to him & he's made them look very good cos his style is to flick them away.

Brendan will earn his song in time, it would be a bit a strange to have his own song 7 months in to his first season when we are 7th and out of all cups. Hopefully he will do enough to earn it for next season.
Not bothered about Chelsea, their fans are amongst the most despicable I met so I don't mind. Reminds me of that song, I never met a good South African but obviously with Chelsea in mind 😉

A pity we eased off a bit, and a pity Suso wasn't given the chance to make an impact, but otherwise a terrific performance.

Great performance all around. Suarez was out of this world. Coutinho looks a cracking prospect.

Also, Reina deserves a lot of credit today. Has gotten a lot of stick this season but a top drawer performance. Chuffed to bits for him.

We've been very clinical today, which is great but this hasnt been a great performance overall.

Haven't kept the ball well, rushing our play too much (even though it seems to be a strategy) and largely helped by Wigan being awful.

Yeah but err, we won. People keep bemoaning the fact that we're scoring a bucket-full 'coz the opposition were awful'.

We've got to make them look awful. We've scored 4 away at a ground we're notoriously shite at. Smile FFS.

Absolutely. We've been absolute shit against the shittest teams for years.
If we can't simply be happy about 4-0 away wins like these, we might as well stop watching LFC play football until we win the league or get to Barca level.
For a team in progress, I'm very pleased we're starting to batter the weaker teams.
I'm also pleased the pessimism pre-match about our chances without Sturridge has been proven wrong (same in Europe the other night).
Well done boys.
