The talk of selling or buying a replacement to cover a 10 game ban (with only 6 next season) is absolute TOSH. Incredible over reaction. Yes, he is an incredible player but we still have the likes of Sturridge, Coutinho, Gerrard and whoever we were planning to buy in the summer anyway along with the peripherals like Downing, Assaidi, Suso, Allen (when he returns). I think we can cope without him, especially if Sturridge leads the line and has some good players like Coutinho and Gerrard around him.
I'm offering my opinion. I'm not saying he did anything right with what he did, but I'm saying he should be playing for a club that can make even more out of his talents than we can.

I think 10 is harsh but in reality i cant argue with it. He ALREADY had a 7 game ban for the same thing. I dont think we could say that it deserves a lesser punishment in our league.

I'm with you, for some reason $50 million seems a bit low but any more than that I would consider. My main worry of course being who we bought with the money.
I'm less worried about that last bit now. I get the impression we have the scouts and analysts now in place to prevent obvious mistakes.
That's true, I guess what I meant was LFC would have to sort out if they wanted to go all in and place all of our eggs on one big name signing or rather try to buy 2-3 top quality players.

Im not concerned if we go down that road. Our one world class player is about to miss a QUARTER of a season because he cant control his temper.
