If the fa say it's a cumulative punishment taking into account previous behaviour then you'll have a point. If they address this one only then it's bollocks.

It isn't a rule. It's an agreement between the fa, the premier league & the refs association, & they have broken it before, so could have done so again.

Fifa have a ruling on it but plenty of other leagues don't follow it.

I think Suarez has been treated badly by the FA, most of the media and most of the fans (both of other clubs and sadly of this club too).
He definitely has a mental problem. he cannot control his anger. That's clear to everybody. He needs help and he will probably get one.
But the way all the aforementioned have treated him is disgusting.
I sadly have to say that I believe he'll benefit taking his talent to another league where he is treated better.

Ben Thatcher got a yellow card for the assualt on Mendes. The FA acted retrospectivly and gave him a 8 game ban.
Defoe bites Mascherano, gets a yellow and the FA does nothing and even has this in their statement.

Suarez bites Ivanovic and gets a 10 game ban. Its insane.

I hope we appeal. There should be a great case for reducing it by at least 3 games.

Suarez is an idiot, he was playing so well this season the whole racism thing had almost been forgotten, then he goes and heaps this shit on himself. 18 matches he'll have missed for us from fucking about and the thing that sticks in my head is that spell where he held off from getting a yellow card for ages because it meant a ban, it shows he can be relatively normal when he wants to be.

Imo I don't think we should appeal this either, we would probably get a few matches suspended where he'll be banned those x2 if he does anything in the future. My guess is he probably will do things in the future and it'll bring back all this negativity when it's debated if the suspended matches from the ban should be reinstated.

It seems harsh but he got 7 for biting before, 8 for racism and now 10 for biting again, punishments have to get harsher to get through to the culprits. I want him to stay but he's already created difficulties for the start of next season over a meaningless incident in a meaningless match, that's unacceptable.
