Available apparently.

The odds of us signing him are probably zero. But if you had the chance, would you buy him for 20m (price bandied around?).

I would. I think he would come here feeling he has a lot to prove. He is very good, scores goals and can change games. Still only 27. Him and Suarez would be interesting...

There are surely a few reasons why he wouldn't want to come here. On our side, he's the wrong age, with the wrong wage demands, a body that's increasingly prone to injury and a bad attitude that's likely to grow even worse as his physical powers decline. And most fans hate him. So, for those reasons, I'm oot.

those are fair points, if the price was lower would you be interested?

Hypothetically, I can see your point. Much as I dislike him, I suppose if he wanted to come on crazily attractive terms from our perspective then he would undoubtedly be an interesting option. But that isn't going to happen. I'm not sure where he WILL go - I can't see him going abroad, although it might suit his game at this stage, so that leaves him with precious few options. Maybe the bluenoses would take him back with Baines going in the other direction. Wenger's always liked him, too.

I can see Ginsoak once again conning his favourite comedy stooges, Everton, with this - he'll value Rooney at about £25m, offer him in exchange for Baines and also maybe a youngster like Coleman and Kenwright will hail the deal as another triumph.

Agreed that he doesn't look the kind who will go overseas - too thick to learn a new language. Going to Chelsea looks like something he could and would do. It'd be hilarious if he went there for 30m and ended up as shit as Shevchenko and Torres.

I prefer Suarez to Rooney and I think him n Sturridge might work out, so no, fuck Rooney. Also he'll want 200-300k a week, and probably get it.
Robin the rapist would be a different ball game, that fucker is class. Unfortunately.

Why would Rooney go back to Everton?
If he leaves this summer, it will be Chelsea or City.

Excellent player, horrendous twat but wont go to a team outside the top 3.

Coming to us? No chance.

If he's have been born a red I reckon we'd have won all kinds of stuff.

But he was born vermin and that ain't about to change.

I would assume he'd leave England if he's going anywhere. I think he'll stay though.

Cant see him learning a foregin language.
His options will be Scotland or Ireland if he moves out of the league.

Or America or Australia or Canada. Or anywhere really. I don't think Suarez speaks English does he?

If he does leave, I think he'll sound Everton out about going back there, see how the land lies with Moyes.
They'd sort the finances, he knows they're skint, and he'd be a top signing for them.
If Moyes didn't want him, god knows where he'd end up. Wouldn't be Anfield though, that would be his last choice.

Well, let's face facts, if they're sniffing round Carrol for 12/15M and Rooney's available for 20M, it's a no-brainer.
