Wayne Rooney may miss Manchester United's Champions League trip to CSKA Moscow later this month to be at the birth of his first child. Rooney still hopes to fly to Russia with the rest of Sir Alex Ferguson's squad as his wife Coleen is not due to give birth until after the Group B fixture on October 21.

But if there is any chance of the baby arriving prematurely, the England striker will stay behind with his wife in Cheshire as United look to maintain their 100 per cent record in Europe this season.

Rooney said: 'Naturally I want to be there for the birth of my child and if anything happens around that time then I'm sure I will stay here. 'She is due just after the game. Of course it's a long way to Moscow but I have a job to do and unless anything changes I will be there. 'If everything is going to plan, then I will be there playing for United because that's what I'm paid to do.'

Hello Hello Hello - where I have heard this before *stirs shit*

He will be a spoilt chav child in a white unisex tracksuit with a gold chain by 10 years of age..

I imagine him like del boys son who ruined only fools and horses.

Our match against them is a few days after the Moscow match! Hope the baby isn't premature.

Could be PERFECT Timing.

Surely Fergie's gonna sell him after this, how can the manager, club and fans forgive him for such a thing?

Completely unreasonable, right?

Of course it's not unreasonable ..... he could miss our game. In a case like that it's perfectly acceptable.

Xabi was nearly sold to Juve because he was well below par for two seasons (I'm not biting again)

his below par was still 3x lucas' excellent though, even though below par for 2 seasons isn't completely true.

bet the baby is born fat, i'll check paddy power to see what the odds are.

Here's a terrible bombshell for you, rage, old fruit: babies aren't made by one man ejaculating into the face of another man. It involves a woman. You know: those people with weird bumps. And the face remains dry, unless it's summer time. I'll leave you to check out the subject in more detail, after you've digested this information.
