In your opinion, of course. In mine, he's a daft prick.
Yes. But I do know people who've talked to him at length and they all say he's an intelligent man. He's an irritant to many as a football manager, but that's another matter.

I found his football utterly unintelligent. He might be a member of Mensa for all I know, but I was referring to on the pitch matters. Definitely a few beers short of a crate in that regards.
I always though both Rafa and Dalglish' little ticks were more amusing than irritating. I don't understand why some people seem genuinely upset about some tendency or other in our new manager either. My best guess is it is related to irritation of the skin in the vaginal area.Get interviewed as often as any manager today and you can be sure people will want to kill you for certain phrases you're not even aware of over-using. It would happen to all of us. On here, since Rafa's influence, you have lots of people ending sentences with 'no?' or 'yes?' as if they're Spaniards who speak decent English. That's also quite irritating, no?
Stand down col Modo. You're a better poster, than getting into little spats.
Hey sunny you retired? 🙁 thanks for the service!

To be honest i had written off our first month of the season. I figured new system, new players, new manager it will all take a few months before we really start looking fluid. So seeing our early fixtures i figured we were fucked and wrote it off. But i'm more than willing to be patient and see how this teams grows (if it does of course). Only thing i personally would like would be if Rodgers just stops all the talking about swansea or his style blah blah blah. Not interested, do your talking on the pitch where it matters. Doing too much talking for my liking.
In fairness, part of his job involves doing about a dozen interviews a week. He has to say something!
Indeed. Thing is we're having a big drug shaped party tonight in ours and I was quite happy that Scrote 2 was staying in his mates and Scrote 1 would be at Creamfields. Might be a bit of a buzzkill if him and all his mates end up in ours while we have an intergenerational gurning contest.
OFF TOPIC. BANNED
yeah i get that, but does he have to always bring reference to swansea and stuff like that? I just wish he was a bit more cryptic at times. Like Gkmacca said he's too honest and it will bite him. I just don't remember kenny talking so much to the press or rafa.In fairness, part of his job involves doing about a dozen interviews a week. He has to say something!
Isn't the whole point that Brendan has his own style rather than Kennys or Rafas?yeah i get that, but does he have to always bring reference to swansea and stuff like that? Well its never been the liverpool way to talk to the press so much. Just seems too much talking that's all im saying. I've nothing against Rodgers and like his philosophy. but the time for talking is over, now is the time for action.Isn't the whole point that Brendan has his own style rather than Kennys or Rafas?
Well, yeah, obv. But it's the beginning of the season, there's not much to talk about other than what he did the past and what he intends to do. When the season progresses then it'll change.Well its never been the liverpool way to talk to the press so much. Just seems too much talking that's all im saying. Ditto. A great pity because Sunny always behaved with admirable common sense, good humour and exceptional patience.
So losing your first game is it a sign of greatness?
Maybe it was a bad example, but what I meant was that Rodgers hasn't been here long enough to start comparing him with Shanks. So far he hasn't done more result-wise than Roy.
I get that people imagine that he'll become the new Shankly, like we imagined that Kenny would bring back the Barnes/Aldo/Beardsley/McMahon/Rush days.
But after everything that's happened between Rafa leaving and Rodgers joining, isn't time for us to be a bit realistic and cautious regarding our prospects?
Like Doc Mac said, in a worst case scenario that image can really come back to bite us in the arse.
Excatly.Nope, time has to be given to see what happens. Theres both for and against. Who knows. Rodgers could turn out to take us down a path shanks did. He also might not. I'm not jumping on any bandwagon, Im enjoying the football with an optimistic outlook. And also just stating a fact that you cant make a decision after one game and that theres examples out there of managers that have both excelled and failed after one game. Don't be getting so worked up modo, you'll give yourself a heart attack!

Also, some here should stop jumping to conclusions every time I post something.
ApparantlyThe common factor between them all is your posting style. If you don't intend to provoke the reactions you get, you're the only one who can do something about that.
