rafa back as manager - how does that make you feel?

He's been a long-term admirer of LFC, there's no question he wanted the job when Rafa got it ahead of him and it's still one of the biggest jobs out there, so why not? The terms of any offer made to him would have to be right, but if they were I reckon he'd come.
Spot on

Jose and any other currently employed decent manager wouldn't touch this project with a shitty stick. Rafa really is the best option out there.

Like i explained in another post.
Rafa - quick fix, longterm? Not sure.
Other top manager - gamble.

to be honest I don't think rafa should have been sacked in the first place, that's not hindsight, fucking LOADS of reds were saying it. that's why kenny should take credit for unitying the fans as there was a definate split.

It doesn't feel very unified now to be honest Neil!

I do think Benitez had to go, and I still think it was the right thing to do. The mistakes came afterwards.

the same reason I didn't want rafa given the sack then is the same reason I don't want kenny to be given the sack now, I think managers should be given the chance to fix their mistakes, they should be given the oppertunity to prove bad results are a blip rather than a trend.

We've been making mistakes all season. Why do we have to wait until next season for them to be rectified? They should be rectified now, not some preset date in the future.

It all went wrong for Rafa as the club imploded with the fuckwit owners. Things would be different now.

well there is that, but the summer and preseason will allow us get back important players we've lost and attempt to plug holes with new signings. btw this is just my opinion I have no real defense for kenny with 6 losses in 7 games and if he is sacked the yanks would get no arguement from me but I do think it's possible to come back from the brink, if I didn't believe that I would openly want him gone.

...and you're absolutely confident he'll get the right players in the summer?

I wouldn't be putting much faith in that. Lucas may not ever fully recover and Agger's relatively injury-free season could be just a fluke and he could be back to normal next season. I can't think of anyone else injured who makes any difference to us.

How about Gerrards fitness?
Considering that it justifed shipping Aqua back to italy.

I doubt any sensible fan is ever absolutely confident any manager will get the right players in the summer.
If a manager on average spends about £15 million on three players(downing, hendo, Carroll)
I'd expect that at least two of them come good.
But we can always blame Comolli.

Doesn't really answer my question, although I answered yours.

Who can answer your question or do you speak for all the fans in the world?
Well I'll tell you this I'd be more confident in Rafa spending that cash on the right players than Kenny, but its not really news.

When on earth did I say I did? What on earth are you talking about? You suggested that one could be 'absolutely confident' of another manager's signings - unless you were just trying to be deliberately fatuous - and since then you've been backtracking because I'm sure you know, when it isn't targeted at Dalglish, that argument isn't convenient. If you DO think you can normally be 'absolutely confident' of a manager's signings turning out good, tell me who that manager is. If you don't think that's possible, admit you've yet again rigged an argument to serve your agenda.
