For my assists table. Personally I don't think it should count (so at the moment I didn't add it), but if most of you guys think otherwise I'll change it.

The video shows his original shot was on target and therefore not one for the dubious goals panel, so for me it's definitely an assist for who passed him the ball.

Absolutely an assist. Can was credited with the goal, and Sterling provided the pass to him. Whether it took a deflection or not is irrelevant.

This shouldn't be about our opinion - the stats have it down as an assist.
