Oh FFS that's done it now.
Jekyll and Hyde performance but here are the ratings because I felt some on here were ridiculously harsh on their pet hates. 1st and 2nd half ratings because there was a huge difference.
Ali 6 + 6 : didn't really have much to do truth be said. But what he did do he did without any shenanigans.
Tsimikas 7 & 6.5 : I thought he did well most of the night fighting against a very pacy attacked (Fashion Jnr). Spoilt hsi copy book with that FK but his corners were very good as per usual.
VvD 6 + 6 : don't understand the criticism to be honest. He had a solid game, nobody ran past him and being played around isn't an error.
Konate 7.5 & 8.5 : had an excellent game. Didn't lose a single header (I believe was the stat) and made an excellent block for the Rangers 2nd chance. Passed with pace and precision. Nobody got past him.
Gomez 6 & 7 : took some stick in the match thread but he was better than that. Was solid down the right flank all night bar that stupid back pass. Good passing and interaction and importantly a) was where he was supposed to be and b) stayed wide. Exceptional assist. I would absolutely prefer this Gomez to that Trent vs. City.
Hendo 5 & 6 : Was not involved in prompting the attack at all and allowed the Rangers' midfielders to walz past him on numerous occasions.
Fabinho 4 & 5 : See Hendo above but worse, numerous passes went astray. It was mainly because of Hendo & Fabs that we didn't click in the 1st half.
Carvalho 3 & 7.5 : lost/ gave away possession far too often in the first half without finding his team mates in attack. Often the point of breakdown. In the 2nd it was a complete reversal, retained possession and was an attacking instigator.
Firmino 6.5 & 9 : despite some nice touches wasn't truly troubling despite the nice goal - but that second half, wow superb, goal and a typically classy Bobby assist !
Elliott 5 & 8 : was having zero impression despite some nice interplay in the first but his driving runs through midfield in the 2nd were a very important part of our intensity and night & day difference in attack. Made up he got a well deserved goal.
Nunez 6 & 7.5 : his teammates just weren't finding him in the first. Complaints about offsides are frankly common for attackers, Mo & Mane often offside because if you're playing on the shoulder that far up then it's bound to happen. However he was powerful and mostly kept control of the ball playing it off to his support though could have done better on a couple of occasions. Beautifully taken goal, he's always going to be a threat and is going to score lots of goals for us.

Mo 10 : amazing hattrick and always looked a threat for the 20 mins or whatever he was on for. A massive confidence boost for Sunday.

Jota 7 : nice assists (!) but should have scored.
Robbo 6 : nice to see him back !
Klopp 9 : brave to rest players, brave decision to change the formation, good subs (great in retrospect) at the right time meant not only were players rested for Sunday but they all, every one have them, have increased levels of confidence. Mo, Bobby, Nunez, Gomez, Konate and Jota especially.

I think Darwin is starting to come good , me uch better movement over recent games and now 2 goals in 2 , score the winner on Sunday (lol) and away he'll go!

Taking it that we will lose at home to Napoli and ajax beat rangers in the last round of games
A 1-0 loss to ajax and they go through. A 2-1 loss and it gets decided on G/D which we should go through
A 3-2 or and other high scoring game where we lose by a goal and will go through
And obviously and 2 goal loss or more and ajax go through
Barca are out if inter win even if they beat bayren because of the head to head between inter and barca

Or rangers just fell apart the 3rd goal and lost their drive. I really struggle seeing us getting anywhere near city on Sunday
It isn't that so much as the fact that he likes (understandably, I suppose) to see us do badly. Agree with the last bit though.
Sorry to be damp squib, this was Rangers after all. Let's see how we do with the League winners. I personally don't think we'll start building a run of wins till Jan, and only then once we've addressed our issues. Fabs needs competition.

I can understand that he celebrated like crazy seeing as he has scored several hundred goals for Rangers, but why Rio is celebrating like he won the Euro lottery I have no idea.
The only thing that could have gone better for us in this game was if Jota would have been on the score sheet
