Liverpool related transfer speculation

We're not signing Udogie. Hato is the most likely signing at left back I imagine. If not him then possibly Kerkez.

@Modo We're linked with Hugo Larsson. Any good? Looks like he's having a very good season for Frankfurt. Can play as a 6 and 8. 20 years old and 6'2.
Hugo Larsson is meh, feigned injury because he didn't get to start for the national team. Tomasson doesn't rate him.
He's a typical workhorse midfielder. Decent squad player at most.

Ah okay. Not sure I’m bothered about Tomasson not rating him mind.

we are also linked with Girona LB Miguel Gutiérrez

Since the Forest home game on 14th September we’ve had something like one midweek off and a postponed derby.
International breaks and cup games (including the CL) where we could essentially rest our best players means we’ve had plenty of stretches where we haven’t gone 5 games in 2 weeks with must win games in all with all our best players needing to play.
It’s a crazy run and nothing like the majority of the season so far.

Our best players tend to play during international breaks

Not always and not full matches as some internationals are friendlies and the intensity at that level is miles away from the EPL.

Playing San Marino or Congo is nowhere near playing Villa or Bournemouth.

It's also different training techniques and pressures from different coaches and fitness teams. Gomez always got injured when selected for England specifically because they didn't follow our training regiment.

A majority of the season is a football match every 4 days

That’s a stretch regarding Gomez and one swallow doesn’t make a summer.

But even if the maths is right a game every four days if significantly different to one every three days. That cumulative extra days rest is huge.
