I mean, kinda. This surprises you? Many women have suffered more just for the money.
Well sorry i didn't realize Mason didnt do time. i thought he had. Like i said previously, i was careless for posting without doing proper research. I read that top clubs were after him, so immediately assumed that they had done enough background checks to think he's worth the risk of being given a 2nd chance.
And yes, let me stress again. Abusers, esp. sexual predators, should be locked up until they've shown reasonably repentance for a considerable time, before they are released back into society, and even then, they have to be under monitoring/regular check-ins, counseling, etc for some time. But i've also heard of cases, where some sex offender comes clean for 10 years, and decides one day he can't do it anymore and becomes a menace to society again.
The ex-cons (excl sex offenders) that have done a full 180, are obviously those who have gone through the long, painful process of being crushed spirit, mind, and soul to the point of total surrender and utter despair. Those are the ones we usually help.
In my limited 'volunteering' experience, the drug addicts have a higher success rate of a complete life change, than say, a sex offender.
I usually don't go near sex offenders esp. pedos, because i dont think i'm cut out for that sort of work. It really can mess your mind up, if you're not properly trained for it. For me, those are your Hannibal or Arthur Fleck levels. Also, dont get me started about preachers who abuse minors.
And yes, abuse and trauma victims are a completely different kettle. I've seen too many trauma counselors who jsut make things worse, just cos they think they've got some uni degree, and can use some scientific approach they've studied and 'experiment' on their clients, and try to 'fix' them. And then there are others who do it mainly for the money, cos its easy money. Nothing pisses me more than that. I find that the 'wounded healers' turn out to be some of the best counselors.
Anyway, i'm really gonna stop now. Back to football. Sorry !
Bobby Clarke leaving Salzberg possibly on loan. Pep L is writing his follow up book, "How to win?" I am sure thats a question crossed his mind many times while he was at Salzburg.Stop talking about this f*cked up stuff.
Are there any rumours ? - has anyone spotted a van or big mofo SUV carrying a smart guy in a suite (not Hughes, Henry, or Edwards or an existing player) - but someone we don't know turning up to ground about to sign ?
What’s your perspective on forced sterilization for serial sex abusers?
I think that’s a pretty low fee for a young player that really impressed in midfield for a decent championship side last year…and who hasn’t looked out of place when he’s come into the side for the top side in Europe.
Surely he should be a 25m player in this market?
It's low but, with add ons that fee can grow.
I think we should accept
The gamble is not bringing in any reinforcements when we are thin on depth with quality. How’s it a huge gamble letting one kid go on loan who’s spent most of the season injured and unavailable and (I presume other’s Morton) another that’s barely featured on the bench let alone the pitch in a position where he’s 7th or 8th choice?
That is the regular run of midweek followed by weekend games that is the majority of the seasonThe gamble is not bringing in any reinforcements when we are thin on depth with quality.
5 league games in 14 days carries high risks of injury.
It’s definitely a gamble deciding not to recruit anyone and go with what we have vs lowering our bar somewhat to get players in or overspending to do that same.
New you say?????John's wallet is
a) between the cushions in his camper van
b) hidden between linda's new tits
c) he is senile now, and is not allowed to have one himself
d) other?
100% agree with this, we are first and foremost a financial institution and football club 2nd.Disagree - it’s important we ensure our valuation is met - otherwise it encourages teams to lowball us for players and weakens our negotiating position.
If he’s worth £20m+, then that’s the offer plus add ons.
A loan would be better, of ‘boro have the capacity to do that.
